September 25, 2024

As part of our Taiken Harmony monthly session for May 2022 DigiTaiken planned a team communication session by speaker Cini JK. The aim of this session was to guide employees on how to create and change basic strategies for healthy and effective communication.

We are all aware that excellent team communication is crucial in today’s competitive environment. Our guest speaker began by emphasising important elements of business communication and how they affect an individual’s career and advancement. She stressed the value of excellent communication skills with the audience. This program emphasized the value of learning these abilities and using them in practical settings.

To effectively communicate, we must realize that we are all different in the way we perceive the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others.
-Tony Robbins

Major topics discussed were well-defined team communication objectives, knowledge of the target audience, figuring out the problem first, and seeking its solutions. It was a very interactive session and included multiple fun activities through which employees could enjoy and learn.

Our speaker guest also pointed out the most common communication mistakes one makes that should be avoided. A few of these included assuming everyone understood things the same Way, ignorance of tone, and not being a good listener.

Fruitful resources were shared that included tips, techniques, exercises, games. Also, we participated in other activities that gave the opportunity to learn more about effective communication, help guide interactions with others, and enhance communication skills.

Taiken Harmony will be coming up with regular fun sessions every month, so stay tuned to know more!
